What VELO Tropical Heat Is
Tropical Heat sits in the VELO Plus line, which uses non-tobacco-derived synthetic nicotine and lists sucralose, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium carbonates, salt, water and artificial flavor alongside the nicotine. VELO calls the pouches "High Moisture" and describes them as large and soft, with a built-in disposal lid on the can.

Is VELO Tropical Heat Discontinued?
No. Velo.com still listed Tropical Heat on its VELO Plus page as of October 24, 2026. At Northerner, the 6 mg listing showed "Out of stock" alongside an Add to Cart button. Retailer stock changes daily. Gotpouches.com did not mark it out of stock.
VELO's product page notes that "all flavors and nicotine strengths may not be available in all markets," so store-level gaps are normal.
Why Is Tropical Heat Only 6 mg?
VELO lists Tropical Heat at 6 mg and no other strength. Only one other Plus flavor shares that single-strength status: Dragon Fruit, also 6 mg only. By contrast, nine of the eleven VELO Plus flavors are available at 9 mg, and seven come in 3 mg. VELO does not explain why these two flavors are capped. Each 20-pouch can of Tropical Heat contains 120 mg of total nicotine (6 mg x 20 pouches).

What Is the VELO McLaren Tin?
VELO's Limited Edition Tin is branded "Design Inspired by McLaren Racing" and contains 100 Tropical Heat 6 mg pouches in one can, which VELO calls a "megatin." A separate Limited Edition Pack bundles one standard 20-pouch can with an exclusive can holster and a custom-designed keychain.
Both items are sold exclusively on Nicokick.com, Northerner.com and Prilla.com. The velo.com page lists no end date.
The tin math. At Northerner the tin lists for $24.95 (marked down from $28.45). That works out to $0.25 per pouch. A single standard can at $4.49 is $0.22 per pouch, and at the 50-can bulk tier ($3.49 per can) you pay $0.17 per pouch. The tin is a design collectible, not a volume discount.
