CONSUMER HEALTH DATA PRIVACY POLICY

Some state laws, including Washington’s My Health My Data Act and Nevada’s consumer health data law, give special protection to “consumer health data”: information that identifies a person’s health status, including inferences drawn from their activity. Because Roon is a wellness product, some information connected with browsing or buying it could be treated as consumer health data under those laws. This policy, which supplements our Privacy Policy, explains how we handle it.

What We Collect That May Be Consumer Health Data

• •Purchase and order information for our products (what you bought, when, and where it ships)
• •Browsing activity on this site (pages viewed, products viewed, cart activity), collected through cookies and similar technologies
• •Information you volunteer, such as messages to customer support about how you use the product

We do not collect medical records, diagnoses, biometric data, or precise geolocation, and we do not attempt to identify any health condition you may have.

Why We Collect It

• •To fulfill your orders and provide customer support (necessary to provide what you asked for)
• •To operate, secure, and improve the site
• •With your consent where required, for advertising and analytics as described in our Privacy Policy

Consent Comes First

For visitors in states with consumer health data laws requiring consent (including Washington), advertising and marketing trackers on this site stay off by default and only run if you affirmatively allow them through the consent notice shown on your first visit. You can withdraw that choice at any time on our Your Privacy Choices page. We also honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal.

Who Receives This Data

• •Service providers who act on our instructions: payment processing (Shopify), order fulfillment and shipping, email and SMS delivery, cloud hosting and infrastructure
• •Advertising partners (Meta, Google, AppLovin), only where permitted by your consent state and your choices, as described in the Privacy Policy

We do not sell consumer health data, and we do not share it with data brokers. We do not use it to build health profiles.

Your Rights

You have the right to know what consumer health data we have about you, to access it, to have it deleted (including from our service providers), and to withdraw any consent you previously gave. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@takeroon.com with “Health Data Request” in the subject line. We will respond within the timeframe your state’s law requires, and you may appeal our decision by replying to our response. If you are unsatisfied with the outcome of an appeal, you may contact your state attorney general.
