On Plus Flavors, Ranked With Strengths and FDA Status
on! PLUS currently ships three flavors in the US: Mint, Wintergreen and Tobacco, each in 6, 9 and 12 mg nicotine strengths. Only the 6 and 9 mg versions of all three flavors hold FDA premarket authorization. Altria's Q2 2026 earnings release says Blueberry Mint and Mango Pineapple will arrive in Q4 2026; as of Oct 17, neither appeared on the FDA authorized list or at Northerner. Classic on! has seven flavors at lower strengths.
Key Takeaways
- Current flavors tie: Mint, Wintergreen and Tobacco are each sold in 6, 9 and 12 mg, and each is FDA-authorized at 6 and 9 mg.
- New flavors incoming: Blueberry Mint and Mango Pineapple are planned for Q4 2026 in 6, 9 and 12 mg, but neither has FDA authorization yet.
- 12 mg gap: All three current on! PLUS flavors sell at 12 mg, but 12 mg is not on the FDA authorized list.

How We Compared
Every number comes from three sources: the FDA's authorized nicotine pouch list, Altria's Q2 2026 SEC filing and Northerner's on! category page. Flavor descriptions are Northerner's own wording, quoted verbatim. We did not taste, lab-test or use-test any pouch. Roon, which publishes this page, sells a zero-nicotine caffeine pouch and links to it below. You can check every figure yourself at the links above.
Each on! PLUS Flavor
All three current on! PLUS flavors come in 6, 9 and 12 mg, with FDA authorization at 6 and 9 mg only. Each uses Helix Innovations' NICOSILK mesh in a slim pouch format. Single-can price at Northerner: $4.99.
Mint
Northerner describes it as "sweet, crisp mint topped with refreshing spearmint." Available in 6, 9 and 12 mg. The 12 mg listing showed "Out of stock" at Northerner on Oct 17.
Wintergreen
Northerner calls it "cool and minty wintergreen" flavored, tobacco leaf-free. Same three strengths. Wintergreen 9 mg had a 5.0 rating from 3 reviews on Northerner, too small a sample to draw conclusions from.
Tobacco
Northerner lists it as "tobacco flavored nicotine pouches in a tobacco leaf-free" format. Same 6, 9 and 12 mg range.
When Are Blueberry Mint and Mango Pineapple Coming?
Altria says the fourth quarter of 2026, in 6, 9 and 12 mg. The Q2 2026 earnings release states that Helix "plans to expand its on! PLUS portfolio with additional flavors across 6-, 9- and 12-milligram nicotine strengths, beginning with Blueberry Mint and Mango Pineapple, in the fourth quarter."
On Oct 17, neither flavor appeared on the FDA authorized nicotine pouch list or on Northerner's on! page. No exact launch date has been published beyond "fourth quarter."
Is on! PLUS 12 mg FDA Authorized?
No. The FDA list includes on! PLUS only at 6 and 9 mg for Mint, Tobacco and Wintergreen. Those six products were authorized in December 2025.
Altria's filing notes that Helix "resumed shipments of 12-milligram on! PLUS in Florida, North Carolina and Texas" with a national expansion planned for Q3 2026. Northerner lists 12 mg variants, though the Mint 12 mg page showed "Out of stock" on Oct 17.
Classic on! Flavors
Northerner lists seven on! flavors (Mint, Wintergreen, Citrus, Cinnamon, Coffee, Berry ("Red Berries") and Original, which is flavor-free) in what it labels 2, 4 and 8 mg strengths with 20 pouches per can at $4.39 for a single can.
None of those seven retail names appear on the FDA authorized list. The six FDA-authorized classic on! products use different names: Autumn Spice, Cappuccino and Rich Berry, each at 2 and 4 mg. For a deeper look at the differences between the two lines, see our on! vs on! PLUS comparison.
Which Flavor Should You Pick?
- If you want a straightforward mint: on! PLUS Mint in 6 or 9 mg, both FDA-authorized.
- If you want a cool wintergreen: on! PLUS Wintergreen at 6 or 9 mg, both FDA-authorized.
- If you want a traditional profile without tobacco leaf: on! PLUS Tobacco at 6 or 9 mg.
- If you want more flavor variety today: Classic on! has additional options at Northerner, including Citrus, Cinnamon and Coffee, at lower strengths (2, 4 and 8 mg) and without FDA authorization for those retail names.
- If you want the pouch habit without nicotine: Roon is caffeine-only (80 mg, Cool Mint).
Before You Buy
on! PLUS is a nicotine product for adults 21 and older. Nicotine is addictive. FDA authorization means a product passed premarket review; it does not mean the product is safe or "FDA approved."
Keep nicotine pouches away from children. US poison centers reported a 763% increase in nicotine pouch ingestions among children under 6 from 2020 to 2023 (Olivas et al., Pediatrics, 2025).

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the most popular on! PLUS flavor?
No public sales breakdown by flavor has been published. Altria's Q2 2026 filing does not split on! results by flavor, so any "most popular" claim is a guess.
Does on! PLUS Tobacco contain tobacco leaf?
No. Northerner's listing describes it as "tobacco leaf-free." Tobacco is the flavor name, not an ingredient leaf.
Is there a citrus or berry on! PLUS flavor?
Not yet. Citrus and Berry are available in the classic on! line at 2, 4 and 8 mg. The first new on! PLUS flavors will be Blueberry Mint and Mango Pineapple, expected Q4 2026.
How many pouches are in an on! PLUS can?
Fourteen, per Northerner's listings. Classic on! cans hold 20. Single-can prices at Northerner are $4.99 for on! PLUS and $4.39 for classic on!.
Will Blueberry Mint come in 12 mg?
Altria's Q2 2026 release says both new flavors are planned "across 6-, 9- and 12-milligram nicotine strengths." Whether the 12 mg versions will carry FDA authorization is unknown; the current 12 mg on! PLUS products do not.
Keep the Pouch, Drop the Nicotine
If you're ready to quit nicotine pouches without losing the ritual, Roon is a zero-nicotine, zero-sugar Cool Mint pouch built around 80 mg caffeine, 60 mg L-theanine, 25 mg methylliberine (Dynamine) and 5 mg theacrine (TeaCrine).
The caffeine dose matches a small coffee. Methylliberine slows caffeine clearance: a randomized, double-blind crossover PK study (n=12) found co-administration extended caffeine's half-life from 7.2 to 15 hours and cut oral clearance from 41.9 to 17.1 L/hr, with no increase in peak concentration (study). That study used 100 mg methylliberine and 150 mg caffeine, roughly 4x the methylliberine and 1.9x the caffeine in a Roon pouch, so the direction of the mechanism applies, not the exact numbers. Expect to feel one pouch for 6 to 8 hours; a 15-hour half-life is a clearance metric, not felt duration. Leave at least 8 hours between your last pouch and bedtime.
Roon is a caffeine pouch, not a nicotine replacement therapy. It will not treat withdrawal. It costs from $9.16 per tin on a 12-tin subscription, as little as $0.61 per pouch.
