Strongest Caffeine Pouches, Ranked by mg per Pouch

Strongest Caffeine Pouches, Ranked by mg per Pouch
Per the brands' own labels, the strongest caffeine pouches listed are LyvWel at 225 mg, Wip at 200 mg, and Ultra Energy at 180 mg per pouch. A large group clusters at 100 mg, and several brands sit between 50 and 80 mg. No brand site we checked lists a 300 mg caffeine pouch. Two Wip 200 mg pouches equal the FDA's 400 mg daily figure. Roon sits lower, at 80 mg, by design: it is built for a 6 to 8 hour felt window and dose control rather than the top of this list (see why Roon uses 80 mg below the table).

Source: brand labels and product pages; prices one-time unless noted, checked Oct 2026. Price per 100 mg = price per pouch ÷ (mg ÷ 100). Roon is the only row at a subscription price. "Not published" means the brand does not list that number.
How this table was built
Caffeine figures come from each brand's product page, not a lab assay (actual content can differ from labels). Prices are the lowest one-time price on each brand's site. Price per pouch, price per 100 mg and pouches to 400 mg are our own arithmetic from each brand's listed numbers. We did not lab-test or use-test any of these products. Disclosure: Roon makes one of the pouches listed, and this page links to it.
Why Roon uses 80 mg instead of 200
Roon sits in the 80 mg tier of this ranking on purpose. A bigger caffeine number mainly raises the peak; the label does not tell you how long the focus lasts. Roon keeps the peak at a small-coffee dose and stretches the tail instead.
- Duration, not dose. Each pouch pairs 80 mg caffeine with 25 mg methylliberine (Dynamine), which slows how fast the body clears caffeine. In a randomized crossover PK study (n=12), methylliberine with caffeine extended caffeine's half-life from 7.2 to 15 hours with no increase in peak concentration (Mondal et al., 2022). That study used 100 mg methylliberine with 150 mg caffeine, about 4x and 1.9x Roon's doses, so the direction carries over, not the exact numbers. Roon's felt window is 6 to 8 hours, and a 15-hour half-life is not 15 hours of felt energy.
- Same lift, longer tail. 60 mg L-theanine sits alongside the 80 mg caffeine for calm focus with no jitters and no crash.
- You control the dose. One pouch is 80 mg, about a small coffee. Want more punch? Many people double-pouch (160 mg) or add another later in the day; do what feels right for you. Keep it to 4 pouches a day and 400 mg of caffeine a day from all sources, the FDA's figure for healthy adults. A 200 mg pouch cannot be split; Roon lets you build up in 80 mg steps.
- Easier to time around sleep. Because the tail is longer, finish your last pouch at least 8 hours before bed.
| Pouch | Caffeine per pouch | Brand-stated duration of effect | Cost per hour of focus |

| Ultra Energy | 180 mg | not published | not computable |
| Draft Energy | 150 mg | not published | not computable |

Source: brand product pages and FAQs, checked Oct 2026. Wip and Draft publish how long the flavor lasts (Wip "20+ minutes", Draft "20-60 minutes"), not how long the effect lasts, so those figures are not counted. Cost per hour = price per pouch ÷ stated hours, so it cannot be computed where no duration is published.
Price per 100 mg rewards the biggest dose. If what you are buying is hours of focus, cost per hour is the fairer number to compare.
Is there a 300 mg caffeine pouch?
No brand site we checked in Oct 2026 lists one. The highest labeled dose on a purchasable product is LyvWel at 225 mg. A single 300 mg pouch would be 75% of the FDA's 400 mg daily figure for most adults.
150 mg and up
LyvWel (225 mg) uses guarana-derived caffeine, 14 pouches per can, $8.99. Under two pouches reach 400 mg.
Wip (200 mg) sells DTC, on Amazon, and at select US retailers. Wip's published daily maximum is two 200 mg pouches (see our Wip review).
Ultra Energy (180 mg) joined Ultra's store in September 2026 at $16.00/can, 15 pouches, recommending no more than 2 per day. See the Ultra Energy review.
Draft (150 mg) pairs 150 mg natural caffeine with 150 mg L-theanine, 20 per can, $9.95. See the Draft review. Iceberg lists 150 mg SKUs on its EU wholesale site but publishes no US retail price or pouch count.
100 mg pouches
Seven brands sit here. Berserker is cheapest at $0.38/pouch (20 per can, $7.60). Nitro also packs 20 per can at $11.00 with a Cognizin citicoline blend. Deckiez Extra Strength Orange is the sole 100 mg option in a mostly-50 mg lineup. Rebel and Mojo run 15-count cans with nootropic extras. Grinds Red Eye Espresso holds ~12 pouches, pushing per-pouch cost up. Smile+ is the priciest at $1.67/pouch. Four pouches of any 100 mg brand reach 400 mg.
80 mg and under
Grinds Energy sits at 80 mg with taurine and B vitamins, $7.95/can. SMKY MTN NOO lands near 80 mg with Cognizin, 18 per can, $7.99 in a 5-can carton. Roon carries 80 mg caffeine with L-theanine, methylliberine, and theacrine, built for a longer felt window rather than a bigger single dose (from $9.16/tin, 15 per tin).
At the low end, Plopii Energy holds 60 mg; NZE and Nectr sit at 50 mg. Brands like Plopii and Ultra also sell paraxanthine pouches with zero caffeine; those are excluded here.
Which caffeine pouch gives the most caffeine per dollar?
Wip 200 mg leads at $0.278 per 100 mg caffeine (one-time 3-pack). LyvWel 225 mg is close at $0.285. In the 100 mg tier, Berserker wins at $0.380/100 mg. Smile+ is the most expensive at $1.666/100 mg.
Upperdeckys would work out cheaper at $0.200 per 100 mg, but every variant was sold out on its site in Oct 2026. Cheapest per milligram is not the same as best for you. A single 200 mg pouch uses half the 400 mg daily budget, leaving little room for coffee or pre-workout. More on daily limits: how many caffeine pouches a day.
Who should skip high-dose pouches
Caffeine pouches are not for anyone under 18. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a heart condition or an anxiety disorder, or take stimulant medication, talk to a clinician before using any caffeine pouch, especially one above 100 mg. The FDA notes toxic effects like seizures can appear with rapid intake of around 1,200 mg. More at caffeine pouch side effects and are caffeine pouches safe.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the strongest energy pouch available?
The highest labeled caffeine per pouch we found is LyvWel at 225 mg, followed by Wip at 200 mg. Upperdeckys listed 200 mg but was sold out as of Oct 2026. Paraxanthine pouches such as Ultra Focus are left out because they contain no caffeine.
Do 200 mg caffeine pouches exist?
Yes. Wip sells 200 mg pouches in 8 flavors, 15 per can, from $8.33/can in a 3-pack. Wip's published daily maximum is two.
Are caffeine pouch labels accurate?
Labels show the manufacturer's stated dose, but actual content can vary due to manufacturing tolerances and extraction variability for plant-sourced caffeine. We did not find third-party assay results published by these brands.
How long does a 200 mg caffeine pouch last?
No brand on this list publishes pharmacokinetic data for its own pouch, and caffeine's half-life varies a lot from person to person. A 200 mg dose stays noticeable longer than a 50 mg one mainly because the starting amount is higher. More context: is 200 mg of caffeine a lot. Roon is the one pouch here with a brand-stated window: 6 to 8 hours felt from 80 mg caffeine paired with methylliberine, which slows caffeine clearance.
Less Peak, More Afternoon
The table above ranks pouches by the size of a single caffeine hit. But a bigger dose clears at the same rate, so two 200 mg pouches use the whole 400 mg daily figure in two doses.
Roon stays at 80 mg caffeine and adds 25 mg methylliberine (Dynamine) to extend how long that caffeine works. In a randomized, double-blind crossover study (n=12), methylliberine co-administered with caffeine reduced oral clearance from 41.9 to 17.1 L/hr and extended caffeine's half-life from 7.2 to 15 hours, without raising peak concentration (Mondal et al., 2022). That study used 100 mg methylliberine with 150 mg caffeine, roughly 4x the methylliberine and 1.9x the caffeine in a Roon pouch, so Roon's 6 to 8 hour felt window reflects the same mechanism directionally rather than the study's exact magnitude, and a 15-hour half-life is not 15 hours of felt energy. Because clearance slows, timing matters: allow at least 8 hours between your last pouch and bedtime. Roon's own cap is 4 pouches a day (320 mg from Roon), and the 400 mg daily figure from all sources applies regardless of dose per pouch. Want more punch? Many people double-pouch (160 mg) or add another later in the day; do what feels right for you.
Tins start from $9.16 on a 12-tin subscription, and a first order carries a 30-day money-back guarantee, once per customer.
