Zimo Pouches Review: Strengths, Flavors, Where to Buy
Zimo pouches are tobacco-leaf-free nicotine pouches sold in nine flavors at three strengths: 3, 6, and 8 mg. Each can holds 20 pouches. Bought direct from zimopouches.com, a roll of five cans costs $24.95, which works out to $4.99 per can and about $0.25 per pouch. Zimo is not on the FDA's list of authorized nicotine pouch products. Nicotine is addictive, and these products are for adults 21 and over.
This is a label-and-site review. We did not taste-test Zimo, and every flavor description below is the brand's own wording, attributed as such. Prices and stock were checked on September 19, 2026.
Key takeaways:
- 9 flavors, 3 strengths, 20 pouches per can, sold in rolls of 5 cans ($24.95) with bulk discounts down to $4.50 per can.
- The brand claims "pharmaceutical-grade nicotine," "food-grade flavoring," and "premium cotton imported from the UK." No full ingredient list is published on the product pages.
- Zimo does not appear on the FDA's authorized nicotine pouch list. The brand's site does not say whether it has filed a premarket tobacco product application (PMTA).
- Two separate brand websites exist (zimopouches.com and getzimo.com) with conflicting details on flavor count and usage time.

What Are Zimo Pouches?
Zimo nicotine pouches are oral pouches that contain synthetic (tobacco-leaf-free) nicotine. You place one under your upper lip for a period the brand describes as 20 to 45 minutes on one site, and "up to an hour" on the other. No chewing, no spitting.
The brand's About page says the pouches are made with "pharmaceutical-grade nicotine," "food-grade flavoring," and "premium cotton imported from the UK." It also references a "water-free formula" designed to extend flavor release. These are the brand's claims. Zimo does not publish a full ingredient list on its product pages, so there is no way to independently verify what else is in the pouch beyond nicotine and flavoring.
For context on how Zimo fits into the broader category, see 13 nicotine pouch brands compared.
Zimo Pouches Strengths: 3 mg, 6 mg, and 8 mg
Zimo sells three nicotine levels. The brand markets 3 mg as its lightest option, 6 mg as a "balanced option for regular users," and 8 mg as a "stronger experience for experienced users." We will not recommend a strength. People who do not currently use nicotine should not start.
Each can has 20 pouches. That means total nicotine per can is:
- 3 mg: 60 mg total (20 x 3)
- 6 mg: 120 mg total (20 x 6)
- 8 mg: 160 mg total (20 x 8)
For comparison, standard ZYN cans hold 15 pouches in 3 mg and 6 mg strengths. ZYN Ultra bumps to 20 pouches per can at 9 mg and 11 mg. Zimo's 8 mg sits between standard ZYN's ceiling of 6 mg and ZYN Ultra's floor of 9 mg. For more on how higher-strength pouches compare, see the FRE pouches review.
Zimo Pouches Flavors
Nine flavors, all available in every strength except where sold out. Flavor descriptions are the brand's words from its product pages. We did not taste any of them.
- Blueberry and Raspberry: fruity, on the sweeter and tarter ends respectively.
- Grape: described as bold and sweet.
- Mango: tropical, smooth.
- Lemon: citrus, refreshing.
- Mint: cool, crisp. Probably the closest comparison to pouches from other brands.
- Wintergreen: cool, herbal.
- Cinnamon: warm, spicy.
- Original: unflavored, though it was sold out across all strengths on the check date.
Nine flavors is a wider lineup than many nicotine pouch brands offer at launch. For a look at another brand with a large flavor set, see the Juice Head pouches review.
How Much Do Zimo Pouches Cost?
All prices from zimopouches.com, checked September 19, 2026. Each roll is 5 cans (100 pouches).
| Bundle | Total Price | Per Can | Per Pouch |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 roll (5 cans) | $24.95 | $4.99 | ~$0.25 |
| 4 rolls (20 cans) | $95.95 | $4.80 | ~$0.24 |
| 10 rolls (50 cans) | $224.95 | $4.50 | ~$0.22 |
| Variety pack (6 cans) | $27.99 | $4.67 | ~$0.23 |
That per-pouch cost is well below most competitors. For the full picture, see cheapest nicotine pouches per pouch and what ZYN costs per can.
Shipping note: The site banner says "Free Shipping On Orders Over $49," but the shipping policy page says free standard shipping applies to "domestic orders totaling $99 or more." Check the cart before assuming. Orders placed before 11:00 a.m. Eastern ship same day, Monday through Friday.
Returns: Zimo accepts returns only on full, unopened rolls. If the shrink wrap is broken, no return. The buyer pays return shipping.
Where to Buy Zimo Pouches Near You
Direct: zimopouches.com is the primary store. Age verification is required at checkout (21+).
Retail: Zimo has a store locator with an interactive map. No store count is published, so coverage will depend on your area. Vape shops and tobacco retailers are the most common physical stockists.
Online retailers: Prilla, Huff and Puffers, and USA Nico all list Zimo. Some delivery apps carry it as well. Third-party prices may differ from the brand's direct pricing, and we did not verify them.
Are Zimo Pouches FDA Authorized?
No. Zimo does not appear on the FDA's list of authorized nicotine pouch products. As of this writing, that list includes products from only two manufacturers: Swedish Match USA (ZYN, ZYN Ultra) and Helix Innovations (on!, on! PLUS). The FDA's page states: "These are the only nicotine pouch products that may be lawfully sold in the United States."
The same page also says that authorized products are not "safe" and are not "FDA approved": "All tobacco products are harmful and potentially addictive. Those who do not use tobacco products shouldn't start."
Zimo's own FDA Disclosure page reads like a dietary supplement disclaimer: "The statements made regarding these products have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. The efficacy of these products has not been confirmed by FDA-approved research." It does not mention a premarket tobacco product application (PMTA). Zimo's site does not say whether it has filed one.
That does not mean Zimo is unsafe or counterfeit. It means the product has not gone through the FDA's authorization process, or at least there is no public evidence that it has. For the full breakdown, see the full list of FDA-authorized nicotine pouches and the Velo Plus review for another brand's regulatory standing.
What Zimo Does Not Tell You
A few things stood out in the research for this review:
No full ingredient list. Product pages list nicotine strength, pouch count, and general claims ("food-grade flavoring," "UK cotton"). They do not list every ingredient in the pouch.
No country of manufacture on the brand's sites. The retailer Prilla states that "ZIMO pouches are manufactured in China" using "European machinery" and "ingredients imported from the UK." Zimo's own sites do not confirm or deny this.
No company name or address. Neither zimopouches.com nor getzimo.com publishes the name of the company behind Zimo or a physical address. The support email (support@getzimo.com) and a toll-free number (1-800-924-ZIMO) are the only contact details.
Two brand websites. zimopouches.com lists nine flavors and three strengths. getzimo.com lists six flavors and gives a different usage time ("up to an hour" vs. "20 to 45 minutes"). The relationship between the two sites is not explained on either one.
None of this is necessarily a dealbreaker. But in a category where ZYN publishes a full ingredient list and has gone through multi-year FDA review, the gaps are noticeable.
The Reader's Call
Zimo pouches are cheap per pouch, offer more flavors than most competitors, and put 20 pouches in every can. For an adult nicotine user shopping on price and variety, the math is straightforward.
The gaps are just as straightforward. No published ingredient list. No named parent company. No FDA authorization, and no public indication that the brand has applied for one. Whether those gaps matter enough to change your decision is your call. The information above is everything the brand's own sites told us.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many pouches are in a can of Zimo?
Every Zimo can contains 20 pouches, according to the brand's product pages. That is more than the 15 pouches in a standard ZYN can, though ZYN Ultra also packs 20 per can. Zimo sells cans only in rolls of 5 (100 pouches), not individually, through its direct store.
How strong are Zimo pouches compared with ZYN?
Zimo comes in 3, 6, and 8 mg. Standard ZYN is available in 3 and 6 mg. ZYN Ultra goes to 9 and 11 mg. So Zimo's 8 mg is stronger than standard ZYN's top strength but below ZYN Ultra. Nicotine strength on the label does not tell you exactly how much nicotine your body absorbs; that depends on pouch composition, pH, and how long you keep it in.
Who makes Zimo pouches?
The brand does not publish a parent company name or address on either of its websites. The retailer Prilla states that Zimo pouches are manufactured in China. Beyond that, no ownership information is publicly available from the brand itself.
Are Zimo pouches tobacco free?
Zimo describes its pouches as "100% tobacco-free" on its FAQ page. They use synthetic (tobacco-leaf-free) nicotine rather than nicotine extracted from tobacco leaf. The pouches still contain nicotine, which is addictive regardless of its source.
How long does a Zimo pouch last?
That depends on which Zimo site you read. The zimopouches.com FAQ says 20 to 45 minutes. The getzimo.com FAQ says "up to an hour." Follow the directions on the can and remove the pouch sooner if you feel discomfort.
Does Zimo make a nicotine-free pouch?
Yes. Zimo Zero is a 0 mg line available in six flavors: Blueberry, Cinnamon, Grape, Mango, Mint, and Wintergreen. On our check date (September 19, 2026), every Zimo Zero flavor was sold out on zimopouches.com.
A Pouch With Its Whole Formula Printed on the Tin
The thread running through this review is disclosure. Zimo wins on price and flavor count, but the brand leaves a lot unpublished: full ingredients, manufacturer identity, regulatory status.
If you are looking for a pouch where every active and its dose is on the label, Roon is a different product for a different purpose. It is a caffeine pouch, not a nicotine product and not a substitute for one. It will not address nicotine cravings or help anyone quit. It delivers caffeine, L-theanine, methylliberine, and theacrine in a zero-nicotine, zero-sugar, zero-calorie sublingual pouch (it does contain sucralose). Every ingredient and its dose are printed on the tin.
Roon costs more: from $9.16 per tin (15 pouches) on a 12-tin subscription, or $15.00 per tin one-time. First order comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If the appeal is knowing exactly what is in the pouch and why, take a look. For a deeper comparison of the two categories, see caffeine pouches vs nicotine pouches.
